There are 3 different sequences of saw chain:
FULL COMPLEMENT CHAIN: or be called standard sequence. One tie strap between each cutter, and is used for most applications.
SEMI SKIP: is a compromise between standard and full skip sequence. Chain pattern alternates one tie strap and two tie straps between each cutter
Full Skip: Chain has two tie straps between each cutter (half the cutting teeth of full complement chain). It is usually preferred by customers who run long bars and cut large softwood trees.
